Living In Essex
Essex is an English county located to the north-east of London. It borders the counties of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Kent across the estuary of the River Thames to the south and London. The county town is Chelmsford, which is the only city in the county. Essex has over 14,000 buildings having listed status with around 1,000 of those recognised as of Grade I or II importance.
