Melrose Gait

Melrose Gait in Galashiels offers a wide range of three, four and five-bedroom homes. This popular town lies in the narrow valley of the Gala Water, close to where it joins with the River Tweed, in the heart of the Scottish Borders. It's a traditional market town, highly regarded as a tourist destination and therefore a popular place to live.

There's plenty to keep you happy in the area but if you do want to travel further afield or need to commute to some of the other towns in the Borders, Galashiels is well placed for some excellent routes north to Edinburgh, north west to Glasgow, and south to Carlisle and Northumberland. Head for the amazing coastal path around St Abbs for stunning scenery and a real breath of fresh sea air.
