Aberdare is a town in the beautiful county of Mid Glamorgan, Wales. It is situated in the Cynon Valley on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and is a great spot for exploring the area. The town is known for its coal mining history and is home to the Aberdare Heritage Centre, which houses a wealth of information on the town’s past. There are plenty of shops, pubs, and restaurants to browse, and the Aberdare Park provides plenty of green space. The area is surrounded by picturesque villages, and there are some excellent schools in the vicinity. The best places to live in the area are the villages of Cwmbach and Hirwaun, which offer beautiful views of the valley and the surrounding hills.
