We have lived here since 1998 and it is a wonderful family home but we are going to downsize. Great Mongeham includes a good primary school while nearby Northbourne has an excellent private prep school while nearby Sholden has a convenience store, primary school, village hall, pub and a farm shop. It is only about a couple of miles to Walmer station where the high speed trains to St Pancras takes an hour and 20 minutes, while Deal includes shops, restaurants, bars, golf courses and the Tides leisure complex. Sandwich is not far with its eateries, entertainment facilities and shops, championship golf courses and the Sir Roger Manwood grammar school while other excellent grammar and private schools can be found in Dover, Canterbury, Folkestone and Thanet.
