DESCRIPTION

Luscombe Maye are delighted to bring to market 1 Bishops Mead, a sizeable bungalow situated in a generous corner plot with front, side and rear garden. The property has been tastefully upgraded by the current owners and is located only a short walk from the village centre with all it's amenities.
A glazed front door opens into a spacious entrance hall which provides access to the principal rooms. A sociable "L-shaped" kitchen-dining-living room is the hub of the home and enjoys French doors which open onto the rear garden, bringing the outside inside in the warmer months and an inset woodburner brings warmth to this space in the winter. The kitchen comprises matching wall and floor units, with a solid oak worktop and wall tiles. There is an integrated fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and eye-level oven plus an induction hob and the breakfast bar contains a wine cooler underneath. There is ample space for a dining-room table and chairs plus a suite of sofas.
Engineered oak flooring has been laid throughout the three double bedrooms, the main of which benefit s from having an en-suite shower room and a bay window. Both the main bedroom and third bedroom enjoy views over the front garden and towards Ugborough Beacon, whilst bedroom two looks over the rear garden. There is also recently upgraded family bathroom which completes the rooms in the home.

OUTSIDE

To the front of the property is an off road parking space, which is laid to gravel. A single garage has an up and over door, plus power and lighting inside and offers great storage and workshop space. Steps lead up to the front garden, which is mainly laid to lawn with some mature shrubs at the border. A gate down the side of the home leads to the rear garden, which comprises a large patio space, plus two raised decking areas, which are ideal for outside dining furniture with the rest of the garden being laid to lawn. The rear garden is fully enclosed by fence and there is a garden shed which is handy for storing all your garden tools.

SOUTH BRENT

The moorland village of South Brent stands in the valley of the River Avon under the southern foothills of Dartmoor National Park and on the northern edge of the lovely South Hams, fifteen miles from the centre of Plymouth.

The village is one with a strong community with three churches, one of which dates back to Norman times, a primary school and a wide variety of shops. There are well-regarded community colleges at Totnes and Ivybridge, approximately eight and five miles distant respectively, and both towns offer a comprehensive range of facilities for the wider community. Some of the finest beaches on the south coast, along with the South West Coast Path, are all within easy reach.

Situated just off the A38 Expressway, the village is well placed for quick access to Plymouth, Torbay and Exeter for which there are regular bus services. Rail services can be found at Ivybridge, approximately five miles distant, offering services to Plymouth, Totnes, Newton Abbot, Exeter St David's and on to Bristol, Cardiff and London.
