DESCRIPTION

A beautiful double fronted character property set within a quiet secluded location in the popular village of Easton, three miles from Wells. Having undergone major refurbishment and extension, the house provides three double bedrooms, two large reception rooms, a double garage and gardens surrounding. The property dates back to 1900 and retains a wealth of period features such as solid wooden doors, exposed floorboards, fireplaces and ornate stonework.

The accommodation comprises kitchen/breakfast room with a range of wall and base units,  range cooker, built-in appliances such as microwave, dishwasher along with an American style fridge/freezer and a door opening out to a private patio area. From the kitchen is a boot room with space for shoes and coats along with a w/c with wash hand basin. The front door opens into a large dining room with gas fire with stone surround and brick hearth along with a window overlooking the gardens. This room could be used for a variety of uses and has more recently been used as a further sitting room, dining room and home office.  The dual aspect sitting room features a wood burner set within a brick chimney, solid wooden floors and wooden shutters for the windows.

To the first floor is a large open landing area with double doors opening to an airing cupboard and exposed floorboards running into each of the three double bedrooms. The principal bedroom has the benefit of bespoke wardrobes, a window overlooking the gardens and a large ensuite featuring a shower, toilet, wash basin and heated towel rail. Two further generous double bedrooms both overlook the gardens. The family bathroom comprises a bath, separate shower cubicle, toilet, basin and heated towel rail.

OUTSIDE

The house is tucked down a no through road and leads from Daniels Lane onto a paved driveway allowing parking for three to four cars and giving access to the detached double garage. Two further parking spaces can be found alongside the property. The South facing gardens are prominently to the front of the house and laid to lawn with a variety of shrubs, trees and bushes. A green house and vegetable plot can be found to the side of the house. A bespoke wooden gate allows access to the rear of the property which has a patio area with a door opening from the kitchen, a perfect space for outside entertaining.
