Open plan and bright, the lodge offer a clever space perfect for relaxing and entertaining. The kitchen is well designed and is fitted with wall and base units, integrated cooker, dishwasher, induction hob, microwave, fridge and separate freezer and an automatic washing machine. A dining space is located within the large modern living room. This area is light and has French doors opening out onto the decking. To the back of the lodge, there are two double bedrooms with walk in wardrobes. The master bedroom benefits from its own modern en-suite shower room complete with vanity basin and toilet. The modern family bathroom fitted with a vanity basin and toilet and panelled bath with overhead ‘rain shower’ and fitted with glass shower screen. The lodge has a newly fitted combination boiler and benefits from both central heating radiators throughout and has a feature electric heater in the lounge area.

Outside
Outside the lodge, you can relax on the spacious balcony, complete with rattan furniture and hanging chair, enjoying views across to woodlands. You also have an allocated block paved parking for variety of vehicles. There is also a garden area to the side of the lodge which laid to lawn and is surrounded by hedging.

On site there are plenty of amenities, something to please everyone! Ranging from facilities such as tennis, basketball, five-a-side football, climbing walls, a farm shop heated swimming pool sauna and steam room, fitted gymnasium, spas, golf stimulator, ten pin bowling, restaurants and bars. There really is something for all the family to enjoy. Cheddar Woods is the ideal location for a family get away.

Location
Situated at the foot of the Mendip Hills, Cheddar is an ideal base from which to enjoy wonderful country walks. Road links are excellent, with easy access to the A38. Bristol is only 30 minutes away and the M5 motorway approximately 20 minutes. Public transport is well represented with a bus service passing through the village every hour linking Cheddar with Axbridge, Weston Super Mare and Wells. Bristol International Airport is 25 minutes away. Please note, the village is not under the flight path therefore aircraft noise is not a consideration for residents. Local attractions include Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Glastonbury Tor and the seaside at Weston Super Mare.

The village itself has a wide range of shops to cater for everyday needs, bank, and a Post Office as well as doctor and dentist surgeries. There is a three-tier school system where children up to the age of nine attend the First School, then move on to Fairlands Middle School and finally on to The Kings of Wessex Academy and all these schools are within the village. The Kings Fitness and Leisure Centre adjoining the Kings of Wessex Academy offers an extensive range of activities for all the family and has an indoor heated swimming pool. There are also a number of village sports clubs and societies to cater for everyone.

Directions
From our office, turn right and proceed to the Market Cross. Turn right again and proceed out of the village for approximately two miles on the A371. Once out of Cheddar you will pass a Petrol Station and a right hand turning indicating Shipham. Continue around the left hand bend and the entrance to Cheddar Woods will be found approximately 100 yards along on the right hand side.
