From Great Malvern proceed south along the A438 Wells Road towards Ledbury for almost two miles before forking left onto the Hanley Road (B4209) signed Three Counties Showground. At the the next crossroads turn right towards Gloucester/Welland. Carry straight on through Welland and out the other side of the village where there will be open common land both sides of the road. Just after the 50 speed limit sign turn right towards Gullet Quarry and again there will be open common land both sides of the road. Go past the farm track on your left then take the second road on your left. The track to The High Ground is the first turning on the left at the bottom of the hill.
