Orleton is a pretty Village on the Herefordshire/Shropshire borders set amidst lovely unspoilt Countryside. The village has a good range of local facilities including Post Office with General Stores, Church, Primary School, Doctors Surgery, Village Hall and two Public Houses. With a thriving community it is one of the most popular Villages in the area. More comprehensive facilities can be found at the nearby historic Market Towns of Ludlow - 5 miles and Leominster - 5 miles. The Old School House is located in the heart of the village, formerly the Parish Church school it dates back to 1854 and was enlarged in 1913. It retains much of its original character with gothic style windows, high vaulted beamed ceiling to the school hall, wooden floors and some fireplaces.
