Templeton Court takes its inspiration from Venice's Palazzo Ducale (The Doge's Palace) with its elaborate Gothic façade, decorative brick, and glass mosaic. The building was designed to conceal its industrial inside from its façade and was home to the very famous Templeton's and Sons carpet factory right up until the 1980's. Glasgow airport sits on the north-western edge of the city, approximately nine miles from Templeton Court.
