Braeholm is a substantial and beautifully proportioned four/five-bedroom detached family home dating from the late 1800’s.
Situated in an elevated position within a highly desirable residential area of Galashiels it is only a short distance from the town centre, which benefits from a station on the Borders Railway that runs from Tweedbank to Edinburgh, with excellent access to Edinburgh and other Border towns via the A7.

Internally, the immaculately presented accommodation comprises four main bedrooms, a family bathroom, a wet room, a sitting room, a kitchen with dining area, a study/bedroom five, a utility room, and a downstairs wc. With a wealth of period features including leaded glass work, original doors, working shutters, cornicing, and sash and case windows, this desirable family home needs to be viewed to be appreciated.

Externally, the garden ground is extensive and is a particular feature with an attractive pedestrian gate leading up some steps to the front garden. To the side is a large monobloc driveway with a generous garage providing plentiful parking and a workshop space. There are numerous areas to sit out and enjoy the outside space, most notably on a terracing over the garage roof which benefits from charming views and accesses the large lawn with well stocked and mature borders in abundance. There is also a greenhouse and garden shed which is included in the sales price.

There is also an area of ground across from the property with a separate garage which could be made available by separate negotiation, and enquiries should be made in this regard.
