The property benefits from new double glazing, new gas combi boiler, stream lined flush wood burner and non-allergenic flooring throughout by Forbo Marmoleum.
Entering at the front, the property opens into a wide hallway, off which is a master bedroom with en-suite shower room and a further double bedroom. There is a staircase rising to the first floor and then the hall opens to the large, bright, open-plan living/dining/kitchen. The living space has been extended out towards the back of the house with a vaulted ceiling and two skylights as well as large patio doors that open to the south-facing garden, making this a lovely bright space. There are additional doors from the kitchen area into the garden, opening to a large decked area.
The kitchen has been fitted with a range of contemporary light wood base and wall units with integrated appliances, including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven and induction hob. The hob is set into a central island, which also houses the sink and provides a breakfast bar at one end, making this a practical and social space. Off the kitchen is a utility room, which houses the Baxi gas boiler and provides space and plumbing for washing machine and tumble dryer as well as coat and shoe storage.
On the first floor are two more bedrooms, a small landing with storage and a shower room. The bedrooms have good eaves storage.
Along one side of the house is a long garage, which has been separated to provide an office/store at the back and garaging at the front. In front of the garage is parking in tandem for two vehicles.
On the other side of the house is a pathway leading to the rear garden. The front garden is laid to lawn with shrub planting and hedge to the front providing privacy. The rear garden has a large decked area with direct access from the kitchen. A step down from here leads to a mature lawned garden with a number of fruit trees and mature shrubs.
