This is a period detached house located in the picturesque town of Looe in Cornwall just a short distance from the amenities, town, harbour and beaches. Unfortunately over the years it has fallen into disrepair and now requires modernisation, updating or even redevelopment, subject to the requisite consents and therefore presents a fantastic opportunity for those looking to create their dream home in a pleasant location on the edge of town.

The accommodation, which requires attention throughout, currently comprises three bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, two reception rooms and two useful rooms within the roof, one leading into the other. At the rear of the property, there is a small courtyard with outbuildings, providing additional storage space or the potential for a workshop or studio. Steps from the rear lead up to a generous parking space, a valuable asset in this popular location.

The property benefits from double glazing and gas central heating, however, it is important to note that it has failed a concrete (mundic) test and is therefore not suitable for a mortgage.

Looe is a charming coastal town with a rich history and plenty of attractions for visitors and residents alike. The town is home to a range of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants, offering a unique shopping and dining experience. The town also boasts a beautiful beach, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports.

For those who enjoy exploring the great outdoors, Looe is surrounded by stunning countryside, with plenty of walking and cycling routes to discover. The South West Coast Path runs through the town, offering breathtaking views of the coastline and the opportunity to spot local wildlife.

Overall, this property offers a fantastic opportunity for those looking to create their dream home in a sought after location. From our office proceed out of town on the main road towards Polperro. The property can be found a short distance along this road on your left after passing the car park and Woodlands View, both of which are on your right. If driving continue past the property and take the third left into Goonwartha Road, follow this to the crossroads, turn left and the property and parking area is on the right just before the end of the road. The parking area can be identified by the blue fence. It is possible to turn into Downs Road from the Polperro Road ( first left after Woodlands View) but this is a very sharp turning.
