Vendors comment

We really love this house. If we could pick up the house and move it to Scotland we would. We are only moving because of family. We have sympathetically renovated the property since we purchased this beautiful house - all the rooms upstairs were re-plastered and the ceilings were over boarded apart from the study/office at the front of the house. The living room walls have been re plastered as well as the entire reception hall walls and the ceilings were re boarded too. We added the period style tiles to the hall floor also. The kitchen had been changed by the previous owners, before we moved in with full solid wooden cabinets and doors, we repainted them, changed the handles and renovated the worktops, installed a new ceramic sink, tap, and the solid wooden shelves. We have renovated the utility room adding new cupboards and solid wood worktop. We have installed the downstairs shower room, mains fed rainfall shower. All the flooring in the house is new apart from the kitchen and the bathroom upstairs. We have installed a new shower upstairs too. Lastly, all plugs/ light sockets have been updated too and we have added a hive, smart device for central heating to the boiler too.For parking, there is the free lay-by across from the house. It is entirely free parking around the area also, but if the lay-by is full, we park next to the chip shop round the corner from the house. There is a free car park directly across from Fourwards restaurant that offers electric charging which is also a 5 min walk from the house. We have thoroughly loved our time in this property, and we hope the next owners do too.
