What the owner says: This was my first house purchase and I have a lot of happy memories from the many years I lived here before moving in with my partner. I was drawn to the property due to the large mature, garden and it's peaceful and private setting. The woodland views front and back make it feel quite special. The little row of houses set back from the road have an amazing community feel and I enjoy seeing the neighbours' kids playing out front together because it's so safe being away from the street. It was a great place to live being an animal lover as the garden and woods at the back meant my cat never ventured onto the road and it's so close to Wild Park, Stanmer and the South Downs that it was perfect for when I got my 1st puppy. The house itself is not overlooked by any neighbours and the rooms are really bright. I loved my bedroom in the loft as it's cosy in winter being really well insulated and in summer you can throw open the windows both sides to make the most of any breeze. With so many trees nearby the bird song is lovely to hear too. Being a semi detached house that's well constructed and laid out, we've never heard noise from any neighbours coming through so it was a really calm place to come home to. It's a convenient location as it's on the 49 bus route and the twitten over the road gets you down to the Lewes road, 25 bus stop within 5 minutes walk. There's always a space to park outside the house and it's really quick to get out and onto the A27 too. We genuinely loved living here.
